Bike Trail Closure

Beginning on July 21, construction is expected to occur on 2.5 miles of the trail northwest of Harmony, between 305th Avenue and 4th Street NW. For user safety, the trail will be closed during this time.

Please be alert & cautious for bikers using other routes during the construction time frame.

The City of Harmony has been working to develop a draft ordinance that would establish regulations for the potential development of a data center within the community.    A Draft Data Center Ordinance is now available to review by clicking on the link below.

The City of Harmony is seeking constructive feedback specifically on the language, content, and scope of the proposed ordinance.  We welcome your feedback related to:  

  • Provisions that may have been overlooked
  • Areas that need clarification or additional detail
  • Potential issues the City of Harmony should consider
  • Suggested revisions to improve the ordinance

Filing for Candidacy for Harmony City Council is open from July 14-28, 2026. Filing fee is $2

Council seats for 2026 Election:

  • 1 – Mayor (two-year term)
  • 2 – Council Members (four-year term)

A candidate for elective office must meet all the following criteria:

  • A qualified voter in the State of Minnesota
  • A U.S. Citizen
  • At least 21 years of age on the date they would take office
  • A resident of the city for 30 days before the election

Stop into the Harmony City Office to complete an Affidavit of Candidacy form (or download it) and bring it in along with the ($2) filing fee during regular business hours.
