Data Center
Harmony is in the early stages of exploring a potential development opportunity on a plot of land near the city. While no specific project has been confirmed, nor land purchased there has been interest from data center developers through MiEnergy and Dairyland Power has sparked important conversations about land use, infrastructure, and long-term community impact. This page is dedicated to keeping residents informed by offering updates, FAQs, and details on upcoming town halls as we navigate this process together with transparency and collaboration.

Bike Trail
This project page outlines the City’s ongoing coordination with MnDOT, the DNR, and local partners to support trail expansion from Harmony to the Iowa border. It includes updates planning along with community engagement efforts such as ribbon cutting logistics and public meeting schedules.

Business Retention and Expansion (BR&E)
Harmony’s EDA Director will be conducting regular visits and surveys with local businesses to better understand their needs, celebrate their successes, and identify opportunities for growth. This page shares insights from those conversations, tracks ongoing support efforts, and highlights how community feedback is shaping our economic development strategies. Together, we’re building a stronger, more connected business community.
